Welcome to Leicester City School Sport Partnership

School Sport Partnerships are based around families of schools with a team made up of a Partnership Development Manager (PDM), School Sport Coordinators (SSCOs) and Primary Link Teachers (PLTs). The families of schools work to enhance opportunities for young people to increase their physical activity levels, experience different sports, access high quality coaching and engage in competition.

The Leicester City School Sport Partnership is comprised of the Crown Hills and Lancaster School Sport Partnerships, each comprising 8 secondary schools. Each of the secondary schools has a family of feeder primary schools.

Our Vision - "Providing quality opportunities and activities to include ALL young people"

Both City School Sport Partnerships have a Partnership Development Manager (PDM) based within Crown Hills and Lancaster Specialist Sports Colleges. The PDM manage the School Sport Partnership (SSP) and develops strategic links with key partners in sport and the wider community.

A School Sport Coordinator (SSCo) is based each of the SSP's 8 secondary schools. The SSCo concentrates on improving school sport opportunities, including out of hours school learning, intra and inter-school competition and club links, across a family of primary schools.

There is a Primary Link Teacher (PLT) based in the family's primary and special schools and aim to improve the quantity and quality of PE and sport in their own schools.
